Return Policy

At Tāh, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If something's not quite right, here’s how our return process works:

 

1. Change of Mind

We understand that sometimes things don’t work out, and we want to make returns as easy as possible. If you change your mind about your purchase, we offer a 14-day return period from the date you receive your order.

 

Conditions:

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

  • Proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or order confirmation) is required.

 

Refund or Exchange:

  • If eligible, you can choose a refund or an exchange to another product of your choice.

Return Freight:

  • Return freight for change of mind returns is the responsibility of the customer. You will need to cover the cost of shipping the item back to us.

 

2. Faulty Products

If your product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, we’re here to help. Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund for faulty products within 14 days of receiving your order.

 

Conditions:

  • The product must be returned in its original condition.

  • Proof of purchase is required.

  • If the fault is discovered after 14 days but within a reasonable timeframe, we are still obligated to offer a remedy under ACL, including a repair, replacement, or refund.

 

Return Freight:

  • If the product is faulty or not as described, we will cover the return freight costs.

 

3. How to Return Your Item

To start the return process, email our customer service team at hello@thetahshop.com to request a return authorisation.

Once your return is approved, we’ll provide you with instructions for sending the item back.

  • Change of Mind: Return shipping for change of mind returns is the responsibility of the customer.

  • Faulty Products: Return shipping for faulty products will be covered by us.

4. Refunds

Please note that return processing may take up to 3–5 business days once we receive your item.

Once your return is processed, we will issue your refund via the original payment method. Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to be reflected in your account.

 

5. Exclusions

The following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty:

  • Used containers

  • Personalised or custom-made items
